You now have the option to moderate your self-registration link. Pros with this function?

1. Enhanced security: moderating the self-registration link allows you to control who has access to your platform.

5. Compliance and data protection: Moderation can help you comply with regulatory requirements by ensuring that only qualified or eligible individuals register.

3. Spam prevention: Moderation helps prevent spam registrations, which can clutter your system and create additional work for administrators.

5. Insightful data collection: Moderation can provide valuable insights into the types of users interested in your courses to better understand the needs of your learning organization.

6. Slot management: Moderation is ideal when spots are limited, allowing you to prioritize the most relevant users and integrate seamlessly with the waitlist to ensure every spot is filled efficiently.

Where do I turn on the feature?

  1. Go to the “Course page” tab in the project menu

  2. Under “Registration”, switch on “Moderated”.

What happens when I turn on the feature?

  • When a learner signs up for a moderated course, it will look like this:

  • They will be registered in the course, but not activated. You can now choose to accept the application (by sending an invitation or clicking “Activate”) or reject it. To be notified when a learner signs up, set up an automated communication.
